Can I leave my monitor turned on with the cover on? TOP
For LCD monitors and televisions, yes. The rear opening provides adequate ventilation for LCD monitors. For plasma TV's see below.

Can I use a cover to protect my plasma HDTV? TOP
Plasma TV?s run much hotter than do LCD TV?s, so to prevent the possibility of overheating you should allow the set to cool off for a few minutes before placing your cover on it. Covering the set while it is on is not recommended.

Will my LCD monitor overheat with the cover on? TOP
No. The covers are designed to provide adequate ventilation.

What color options are available? TOP
Currently black is the only color option available.

How should I trim my guitar strings? TOP
The best way to prevent snagging your Cover Doctor guitar cover is to trim the ends of your strings using a pair of diagonal cutters. When you install a new set of strings, use  a pair of dikes to snip the string off close to the tuning peg. The material we use will not snag under normal circumstances, even if the strings are not trimmed. However, precaution is always the best policy to protect you investment.

How do I measure my flat screen monitor? TOP
You should measure from the outer edges of the monitor from side-to-side and top to bottom. We do not recommend going by screen screen size alone, as there are wide variations b/w models.

Can I use a Cover Doctor Flat Screen monitor cover on a CRT monitor? TOP
Not really. It might fit over the screen, but these are intended for flat panel monitors because the cover fits over the entire monitor.

Is dust really harmful to guitars? TOP
Absolutely. While dust may not affect the sound of the instrument for some time, it is a killer of the guitars finish. Even if you polish your guitar regularly, you are still rubbing the dirt around as you polish. This creates light swirls or scratches in the finish and diminishes the beauty and potential resale value or instrument.

How do I care for my Cover Doctor product? TOP
Caring for you Cover Doctor product is easy. Simply wash in the machine or by hand in cool water and lay on a flat surface or hang to dry. NEVER machine dry. This material will shrink in the dryer. With proper care your Cover Doctor product will provide years of service.

Can we do monogramming? TOP
At this time, monogramming is not available. BUT... we are looking forward to providing that as an additional service in the near future! Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when it becomes available.

Can we do custom orders? TOP
Sorry, for individual items no. There's just too much risk in making a custom cover for a product that we can't personally measure. Even if you give us the model name for an HDTV or monitor, we don't have access to these to measure them for ourselves.
